AltaGas operates the Blythe Energy Center in southern California, a 507 MW gas-fired generation facility that connects to the transmission grid operated by CAISO. It is directly linked to an El Paso Gas Company natural gas pipeline and interconnects to SCE and CAISO via a 67-mile transmission line.
