This expansive business included NBC broadcast and a range of cable television networks in addition to the Direct-to-Consumer business. As chairman, NBC’s Olympics rights deal was renewed and a contract extension was signed to air the Olympics through the 2032 Games. Under his leadership, Paris 2024 Summer Olympics reached record-breaking engagement and cross- platform viewership. Previously, Lazarus was Chairman, NBCUniversal Broadcast, Entertainment and Lifestyle Group, Sports and News, where he led most of the company’s East Coast-based content businesses, including the Entertainment and Lifestyle Group, NBC News, MS NOW and CNBC. Val Boreland President, Entertainment Val Boreland serves as President of Entertainment for Versant where she oversees content strategy, creative development and production, marketing and content acquisitions across the company’s portfolio of entertainment brands and platforms. Previously, Boreland was Executive Vice President, Content Acquisitions for NBCUniversal Entertainment, where she led content buying and curation across NBCU’s expansive broadcast, cable and streaming platforms. She was also responsible for high-profile deals across the entertainment portfolio, including Peacock’s agreement to stream the first window of Universal Filmed Entertainment Group movies following the theatrical release window. She partnered with third-party studios – domestically and internationally – to acquire content for all NBCU’s entertainment linear platforms and Peacock, including original films and international series. Roy Cho President, Distribution & Partnerships Roy Cho serves as President of Distribution & Partnerships for Versant where he focuses on negotiating linear carriage, streaming and AVOD/FAST agreements for Versant's portfolio, coordinating and executing marketing partnerships and managing ongoing and sourcing new business development opportunities with distribution platforms and partners. Prior to joining Versant, he held several roles at AMC Networks from 2016 – 2025, including most recently Executive Vice President of Distribution & Business Development. Cho also worked as a corporate M&A and private equity attorney in the New York offices of Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Winston & Strawn LLP. A graduate of Brown University, Cho received his bachelor's degree in political science with honors. Previously, Cocozza served as Senior Vice President of Communications for CNBC, where he led internal and external communications worldwide. Prior to joining CNBC, Cocozza was an Executive Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Communications at WarnerMedia (formerly Time Warner) where he supported the communications efforts prompted by AT&T’s acquisition of the company and rebranding into WarnerMedia. Cocozza also launched a communications and public relations firm, Inwood Consulting, which hosted clients in business and politics. Matt Hong President, USA Sports Matt Hong serves as President of USA Sports, the sports division of Versant. USA Sports is home to premium sporting events airing on USA Network and Golf Channel across the calendar year, including NASCAR, PGA TOUR, Premier League, WWE, WNBA, USGA, R&A, Pac-12, LPGA Tour, PGA of America, Atlantic 10 Basketball, and more. MS NOW’s audience is among the most engaged in the industry, with viewers tuning in nearly eight hours weekly. With Kutler at the helm, MS NOW's digital presence has reached new heights, projected to reach 7.7 billion combined viewers across YouTube and TikTok in 2025, making the network a top destination for political news consumption and #1 on YouTube. She has built a robust, independent MS NOW newsroom, notably with the addition of dozens of Pulitzer, Murrow, Emmy and Peabody award-winning journalists to the organization’s rapidly expanding newsgathering operation. Previously, Kutler served as Senior Vice President for Content Strategy for the network, where she oversaw all of the brand’s non-linear business units, including podcasts, films, live events and digital products. She spearheaded the launch of “MS NOW LIVE,” a first-of-its-kind live event series, and supercharged the network’s investment in its digital products, which saw double-digit, year-over-year growth and averaged 30 million monthly unique visitors in 2024. Kutler also created “MS NOW Premium", an Apple Podcasts subscription that offers ad-free listening, early access and exclusive bonus content, as well as expanded MS NOW's award-winning audio portfolio with chart-topping podcasts. Kutler also previously oversaw MS NOW's dayside programming and is responsible for developing and launching several of the network’s marquee programs, including “The Briefing with Jen Psaki,” “The Weeknight” and “The Weekend.” Before joining MS NOW, she served as the Senior Vice President at CNN. Jeff Mayzurk President, Operations & Technology Previously, Mayzurk was Executive Vice President, News Group Operations & Technology at NBCUniversal where he was responsible for operations, technical production, post-production, archives, editing and technical strategy across the NBCUniversal News Group including NBC News, MSNBC and CNBC. Prior to that, Mayzurk was Executive Vice President, Operations & Technology for Telemundo and International where he led operations and technical strategy across all Telemundo business units and production types, including news, sports, reality, digital and scripted entertainment and served as the O&T leader for the company’s international footprint. His responsibilities also included production operations, engineering and facilities. In this role, he was charged with evolving Telemundo’s production workflow, orchestrating the division’s move to IP-based production and innovative use of remote production technology. In this position, he leads the company’s portfolio of direct-to-consumer digital businesses in entertainment and sports, which develops innovative transactional and content technologies that enhance leisure and recreational time for millions of consumers each month and helps drive business and efficiencies for partners. In this role, Pietrycha led the company’s strategic acquisitions of Free TV Networks, StockStory, INDY Cinema (now Fandango1), and Full Swing. Prior, he served as the Chief Business Officer of NBCUniversal Media Group where he was responsible for driving the evolution and growth of the business, specifically advising on resource allocation, investment decisions, partnerships and M&A. KC Sullivan President, CNBC KC Sullivan is President of CNBC, the recognized world leader in business news. He is responsible for the network’s global television and digital news operations, subscription products, and high-impact events and councils. Sullivan has spent more than a decade in leadership roles across CNBC’s portfolio in both the U.S. and overseas. Previously, Sullivan served as President & Managing Director of Global Advertising & Partnerships for NBCUniversal based in London.
