["Amisk (100% SSRM owned) is a gold-silver project located on the Flin Flon greenstone belt in Saskatchewan, Canada, approximately 20 kilometers southwest of Flin Flon, Manitoba and approximately 140 Kilometers southeast of SSR Mining’s Seabee operation. SSR Mining acquired the Amisk project on May 31, 2016 through the acquisition of Claude Resources Inc. The Amisk project is comprised of the Amisk gold deposit, the past-producing Monarch gold mine and a number of gold occurrences. The Amisk gold deposit is usually associated with pyrite and quartz and it is amenable to conventional cyanide leaching. Conceptually, the project has the potential for a large bulk tonnage mineable deposit in an open pit configuration. The property consists of an over 40,000-hectare land package situated in the Flin Flon mineral districts, which is near established infrastructure and hosts several operating mines.
