The Oko Gold Project is a gold mine under construction in Cuyuni-Mazaruni, Guyana, on a 362 km² land package approximately 95 km west of Georgetown. G Mining Ventures is building Guyana’s next leading gold mine, with a projected 14 year mine life and over 7 million ounces of reserves. Commercial production is expected to begin in January 2028 for Phase 1 of the project with pre-production on the expanded project in 2028 and targeting expanded throughput in 2029. Exact timing to be confirmed in an updated feasibility study for mid-2027 for the combined project of Oko West and Oko-Ghanie. Once completed, the mining method will include both open pit and underground operations.
