In south-eastern Peru, American Lithium is developing the advanced-stage Falchani hard rock lithium deposit, as well as one of the world’s largest undeveloped uranium deposits, known as Macusani. He has covered several stages of the mining process from initial exploration to mine development and production. Additionally, his expertise also includes corporate governance, finance, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate communications, while fostering strong relationships within the investment community. Formerly, he was the Vice President of Investor Relations for Prime Mining Corp., Belcarra Group, Alio Gold/Timmins Gold, and Orko Silver. Dr. Laurence Stefan President, Chief Operating Officer and Director Dr. Laurence Stefan, has over 30 years of experience in the mining industry (exploration, development, mining, processing and marketing), serving as managing director in Peru since 2007. Dr. Stefan was the founder of Plateau Energy Metals prior to their acquisition by the Company, and previously worked at Gold Fields of South Africa and JCI Pty. Ltd., where he was involved in the beneficiation of a wide variety of solid metal/non-metal commodities. He has vast experience covering over 100 projects on six continents and led the discovery team for the Falchani lithium project. Gregory Barbier Chief Financial Officer Mr. Barbier has more than fifteen years of experience in financial reporting, budgeting, financial planning, and cost analysis in multiple industries and countries. Prior to joining American Lithium Corp. in October 2024 as Controller, he held Vice President Finance roles at two publicly listed mining companies in Canada. Mr. Barbier received his Master of Business Administration from the University of New Orleans and his Master in Audit & Finance from the EM Normandie Business School. He is fluent in English, Spanish and French. He is a Certified Financial Analyst charter holder. Ted O’Connor Executive Vice President Ted O’Connor, P.Geo, M.Sc, is a professional geoscientist with over 30 years of experience in the exploration industry. Mr O’Connor was involved with Plateau Energy Metals since shortly after its inception, until its acquisition by American Lithium. Previously, as director of corporate development for Cameco, he was responsible for evaluating, directing and exploring for uranium deposits worldwide. He has led new project generation from early exploration through discovery on multiple uranium projects and was also part of the discovery team for the Falchani project. Ulises Raul Solis Llapa General Manager, Peru Operations Mr Llapa was an original member of the Plateau Energy team before its acquisiton by the Company, and is an accomplished mining lawyer, who graduated from Universidad Catolica. He had previously worked for Ocona Power Corporation, as well as various Canadian mining corporations such as Teck Corporation, Andean American, Invicta Gold. As of 2001, he joined the Colibri Group of Companies as legal representative and then as General Manager. In 2007 he started working for the Canadian uranium explorer Macusani Yellowcake Inc. that evolved into Plateau Energy Metals. Following the discovery of the large Falchani lithium deposit in Puno, he began working for American Lithium, bringing with him his industry expertise and deep relationships with local communities, regulatory and political authorities. Angel Lino US Operations Angel Lino is a seasoned U.S. Operations Manager with 22 years of experience in the mining industry, supporting complex operations across multiple organizations and technical environments. Her career includes roles with Barrick Gold Strike, SRK Consulting, NOV, and Halliburton, where she has contributed to the success of large scale, safety driven operations. Angel brings deep expertise in operational coordination, process improvement, and cross functional support within highly regulated, performance critical settings, and is known for aligning day to day operational execution with strategic objectives while maintaining a strong focus on efficiency, compliance, and team collaboration. Throughout her career, Angel has partnered closely with site leadership, engineering, exploration, and operations teams to streamline workflows, manage priorities, and support continuous improvement initiatives, with a disciplined, solutions oriented approach and clear communication style that has made her a trusted operational partner across diverse mining and energy organizations. Emily Ketchen Corporate Secretary Ms. Ketchen has over nine years of experience in the capital markets industry and serves in a senior leadership role at The Bowering Investment Group. She specializes in corporate governance and shareholder engagement, working closely with the CEO and CFO. She oversees corporate uplistings, manages significant financings, and supports a variety of companies in the mineral exploration sector. Emily also handles securities compliance, regulatory matters, and public company administration, ensuring companies meet governance and reporting requirements while maintaining operational efficiency. Augusto Cauti Strategic Advisor (Peru) Mr. Augusto Cauti is a seasoned mining executive who served as Deputy Minister of Mines of Peru in 2019-2020. He was previously an executive director of the Australia-Peru Chamber of Commerce (2015-2019) and General Counsel for Pan American Silver Peru (2006-2013). A lawyer by profession, educated in Peru (Pontifical Catholic University of Peru -PUCP) and in the USA, Mr. Cauti holds a certificate in the American legal system from Georgetown University, and a Master of Business Law from Duke University. Mr. Cauti is an experienced professional providing strategic business relations, access to markets and business development advice in the Andean markets. Board of Directors Andrew Bowering Executive Chairman Andrew Bowering is a venture capitalist with over 30 years of experience in mineral exploration and development across the Americas. He co-founded Millennial Lithium Corp., acquired by Lithium Americas Corp. in 2022 for C$491 million, and also served as an Executive Advisor and Director of Prime Mining Corp., which was recently acquired by Torex Gold for approximately C$449 million. (Ben) Binninger Lead Independent Director Mr. Binninger is a chemical engineer who brings a wealth of experience in senior management, as well as operating and board roles during a career spanning more than 40 years. Ben has held several high-profile roles in a variety of sectors, including mining, chemicals, energy, materials, environmental and advanced technologies. He has direct experience in lithium and related minerals, having been CEO of Potash Minerals and a member of the advisory Board of Millennial Lithium. Ben has also created sophisticated process and services companies for global leaders such as Rio Tinto, Hercules and ARCO. He provides key strategic advice as development of the company’s lithium and uranium projects continue to evolve and be further de-risked as the need for critical minerals becomes more widely recognized. Ben taught international business management at UCLA. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he attended on a Teagle Foundation Fellowship, and has a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Manhattan University. Additionally, she worked for nine years at Rio Tinto, as general manager in strategy, business evaluation, M&A and business development. In her various senior management roles at the world’s second largest mining multinational, she developed considerable expertise in assessing and evaluating the financial merits of large-scale mineral development projects across a variety of commodities including lithium. Ms. Tornquist is also a director of Silver One Resources and is a former director of Kennady Diamonds, which was acquired by Mountain Province. Additionally, she has worked as a consultant to Western Potash, which was acquired by China National Offshore Oil Corp. Ms. Tornquist holds a Master’s degree in engineering and Master’s degree in business administration. Rona Sellers Independent Director Ms. Sellers is an experienced governance professional with more than 14 years of experience in corporate and securities law. Currently, she is Vice President Commercial and Compliance and Corporate Secretary for Apollo Silver Corp. and Vice President Compliance and Corporate Secretary for United Lithium Corp.
