Alphamin’s Mpama North mine is the world’s highest-grade tin mine, currently producing mined material (run of mine) at an average grade of around 4% tin. At a tin grade of 2%, Mpama South is the world’s second highest-grade tin mine. The two producing mines have a blended feed grade of circa 3% with a combined output of approximately 20,000 tonnes of contained tin per annum. With underground grades expected to increase at depth, the combined plants have the capacity of producing as much as 25,000 tonnes of contained tin per annum in future subject to an increase in mined tin.

["Mpama North - Mpama North is producing approximately 10,000 tonnes contained tin per annum at an all in sustaining cost of between $10,000 – $12,000 per tonne Sn. Its life of mine is currently 12.5 years. Mpama North is in operation producing approximately 3% of the worlds mined tin in the lowest quartile of the global tin mine cost curve. It was chosen to be the beachhead to provide Alphamin with a base and cashflow from which to develop the rest of the potential of this remarkable tin province. Mpama North has been able to carry the cost of establishing and operating a mine at the heart of the license area. Additional operations will only require the capex to establish the operation itself, all infrastructure capex has been taken care of by the Mpama North mine.","Mpama South - Mpama South is approximately 1,000 meters center to center from Mpama North. A total of 16 diamond core holes have been drilled into Mpama South with encouraging results. All indications are that there is a similar ore body to that of Mpama North here. A portal will be established from which an underground fan drilling program will be undertaken. The results of this will inform the mine plan for Mpama South. Alphamin is aiming to bring Mpama South into production during 2023."]
